First imaging attempt moon and saturn

Hi guys

I recently bought my first telescope, an 8 inch GSO dob, and tried my hand at taking some pictures the other day. I was using a samsung st550 to take some videos. The saturn picture was made from an 8 sec video and then stacked in registax.

I think they turned out pretty well, but then again I might be biased;)

Any tips on getting better images would be appreciated

And a good first attempt it is, although you Saturn image is rather dark.

very nice there Marnus. can take a while to get used to a new telescope. I have had my Skywatcher telescope for just over 6 months.
