Hi everyone.

Having reacquainted myself with my Pentax DSLR, I've gone back and looked at some pictures I'd taken over the last couple of years. This one was taken at dawn in Sturt's Stony Desert on a work trip to the Beverley Uranium mine and reminds me of just how still it was at the time.

Exposure info: 1/350, f8, ISO100, 50mm

Cheers,
Mario

Thanks Mike for the wonderful compliment!

My DSLR had been ferreted away in a cupboard over the last couple of years and I'm only now getting back into playing with it. However, it's been interesting going back and having a look at what I'd managed to snap the few times I had used it during that time...

Cheers,
Mario

Thanks Joshua - I do miss the calmness of the early morning in the desert.... (not the flies later in the day though!)
