best guess is maybe asimov, now he has a 900nc, the next version up of the 840k. Also Mike has a new camera coming??? Although they may keep for guiding, not sure.
For what it is worth, the $200 odd, ie camera and 1 1/4" adapter are worth the money in my opinion.
Toucams are like powermates, excellent value and get snapped up as soon as they are listed for sale. I will keep an eye out.
or you can get them for $100 US on astromart :)

If you search on ebay there are a couple for sale with buy now prices...
roughly $66 excl postage......
You will then have to mod them yourself....
Yea Noelo, i have seen that, but i'm a bit hesitant to buy from overseas.
Would they be the same as from SA, for 155.00, do you think.

Leon,
From my point of view, the only different that goods sold in Australia compare to oversea is pirce in Aust. is way tooooooo high. I just got my 840K w/1.25'" adaptor with around AU$115 from Hong Kong and yes, the price is the only different.
Bill
thanks for the reply Bill, i'll keep that in mind

Cheapest one is 'Buy it Now' price at AU $62.99 but postage is AU $31. Also has No adaptor, and No modification. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Philips-ToUcam-WebCam-PRO-II-PCVC-840K-20-CCD-sensor_W0QQitemZ300000915091QQihZ02 0QQcategoryZ4616QQssPageNameZWDVWQQ rdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Keep asking in here is probably the best bet, or Astromart maybe.
think i'll do that Ken, iv'e got plenty of time
Ken i'm however tempted, not a bad price really, and i can always pick up an adaptor at a later date. i'll give it some thought

Leon, you will need the adaptor to use the Toucam in a scope. That the bit that fits into the Focuser.
Also, make sure you buy the 840k Pro II model Toucam. I notice that there are some older models in ebay too (same price) so don't make the mistake of getting the wrong one..
got you Ken, i'll be careful
