Intes Maksutov MK-65
6" primary mirror
f/10, 1500mm focal length
1.25" helical focuser with integrated diagonal
6x30 Intes finder
Polaris EQ mount, made in Japan
12V electric clock drive for RA axis (bit worn but tracks alright)
Focus adjustable camera adapter. (I used it with a Canon 5D and it works well.)
Non-collimatable, fixed rigid optics - Russian submarine kinda stuff. I star tested it and she passed without flying colours! ;)
This is a nice, well made Russian scope, made in 1994, but I do not use it often enough to warrant me keeping it. Ideally, I'd like to see it go to a school with an astronomically minded physics/science teacher. In which case, it would be a freebie. Otherwise, I am open to offers.
Sorry, no eyepieces included. Inexpensive ones work well. The 25mm GSO plossl would be a good all-rounder. Most barlows do not work with this scope because of the short travel of the focuser.
Pick up from Clifton Hill, VIC. Or posted at your expense ($100 or so, the mount and counterweight are heavy!).
Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.
