Had no time to grab a good camera or to set this up. I had gone outside to see what the dog was barking at, saw this and grabbed the first camera I could find - not the best but the best I had to hand.

Remarkable. The best colour I have seen like that was a dawn in the Colorado Rockies.

Lovely sunset, Peter! Almost worth having a cloudy sky just for that :)

Great shot Peter - I was stuck in theatre, but I received texts from my wife and another friend with sunset pics today. Reminds me of one I captured off my back deck a couple of years ago. The mackerel clouds are stunning when they occur in the late afternoon!

Totally wild Peter, well done :eyepop: Glad to see a photo of it, I was under a engine upto my elbows in grease racing against twilight, seen some colour up through the engine bay, paused and hoped someone got a shot of it, and you did  looks fantastically awesome
Good Stuff . . .

Thanks everyone. It was one of those "the things you see when you don't have a camera" moments - except that I did have one albeit a simple little Canon S3 IS. Better than nothing though.
