Hello,

More "imaginary" DeepSkyScapes.

An "artistic" impression in Ha of the Horse Head Nebula and Barnard's Loop setting in the Mudgee-Coonabarabran region of NSW.

"Sky Layer" photographed with Nikon 180mm F2.8 lens with Ha filter on QHY9 mono CCD.
"Terrestrial Layer" photographed with Sony a550 DSLR and Minolta 70-210 F4 lens.

Image processed with Deep Sky Stacker and Photoshop CS2.

The photo is here http://smu.gs/128Dq5G

What do you think?

Thanks for looking.

Ross.

Thanks Carlos.

It has been fun doing these photos so I'm definitely taking it further.

I still have a couple more in this series and although they are a bit rough, what I have learned doing them will help me refine the next lot.

Strewth Ross, that's a very engaging image. It will surely start a lot of people thinking and tinkering. Me included.

Cool. It's nice to imagine that there could be somewhere in the universe that actually has that view!
