Hello- when I slew to home it points East of meridian at HA 10, DEC 180 not like it is supposed to in the manual (west of meridian 0/-2.0) etc
I am starting with the OTA facing SCP , the versap plate screws on my left when facing scp with the connections bit at the bottom most of the plate-like in the pic in the manual.
I have messed about with the pos of the versa plate and it is in the middle of the travel between both stops, so I think it is correct pos.
What daftness am I committing please?
Cheers for help as I want to do what the manual says!
Graham.

Graham. Can you take a pic of mount and pier. Hopefully it's somewhere close to SCP, regardless of MX home position. Pics will help. Also, is Southern Hemisphere set under Bisque TCS settings?

It's facing SCP as I have used same position in POD that my CGEM was in, which was polar aligned. I will take a piccie soon matey!

NB also is set up Southern hemisphere under TCS Bisque

U mean that the ota points over those versa plate screws towards the east if they had remained still, mine does that as well, and works ok. I haven't even put in the home position this time round and it still works a treat.

That Home position in 100% normal for Southern Hemisphere use.
The Park position is, if course, determined by the user.
You look ready to roll ;)

I will second what Logan has written. In the Southern Hemisphere home points to the East!

Thanks to everyone who has replied- I certainly am ready to roll!
I keep reading the manual and thinking it is same for down here. - It even says in the Southern hemisphere it should be HA 0 Dec -2.0 - Next time I will just ask on IIS!
Thanks again

Please post on the Software Bisque support forum or e-mail Daniel Bisque with your documentation corrections, clarifications and well worded suggestions. He very much appreciates receiving these and he merges them into the documentation promptly. And of course do mention that you're in the Southern Hemisphere as well. Thanks.
