As in the title and despite not being the best targets for my short focal length but I decided to give these couple of galaxies a try last months.
The first image is on Fornax A, NGC 1316, a lovely shell galaxy in Fornax that is very nice with her complex tidal shells and tiny dusty patches on the core. I wish I had a bigger telescope to get more details on the core but still something is visible.
NGC 1316 (http://www.glitteringlights.com/Images/deepsky/13667287_7Mtr58#!i=2249111188&k=8J8xGF6&lb=1&s=X3)
The second image is of NGC 4945 in Centaurus, irregular galaxy almost edge-on with complex dust lanes set in a very rich star field.
NGC 4945 (http://www.glitteringlights.com/Images/deepsky/13667287_7Mtr58#!i=2535452442&k=Z7F7FLF&lb=1&s=X3)
Surely not the best images of these objects I have seen but I am happy to have them in my collection :)
Hope you will like them both
Clear skies
Marco
