Hi,
I used my 60Da for the first time last night and when I go to stack my M 20 it says as it is registering the images (0Stars) on each image and at the interval between registering and stacking it says only 1 image will be stacked. Try adjusting the star detection threshold which is at 50%. I have no idea. Images are raw .CR2. Have done a reinstallation.
Help please.

Hi Mark, i had a similar thing happen when set to 60% so i set threshold to 15% it works well with 800 stars detected. In the register pictures advanced window slide it to lower threshold and choose compute number of stars see how many you get. Hope you get it to work.

Thanks Wayne. Lowered to 5% had registered 1500 stars. All looked goo until loading image and I got this as attached. No real histogram and just a single line and no full image. I have never had this problem before so am thinking it must be a camera setting.

Just did a stack with data from my 400d and it stacked perfectly so it must be to do with some of the settings in the camera.

Mark, you need to download the Beta version of DSS.
Deep Sky Stacker 3.3.3 beta 51
Scroll down the page for the link.
http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/DeepSkyStacker/
And when you go to stack, as advised above, adjust your slider so DSS will detect more stars.

Thank you all Beta version downloaded and stacked away. I might change my setting for star detection from 5% to 15% as it was registering 15000 stars and taking forever to stack.
