Hi everyone
I have reluctantly decided to sell most of my current imaging gear.
First to go is my 8" GSO CF imaging newt. This scope is in awesome and condition is still like new, it is less than a year old.

I have done a fair amount of work to this scope to get it to a good standard.

The following has been done:

-Protostar flocked
-All other surfaces painted with black board paint
-Primary mirror clips removed and mirror silicone to cell
-Crappy GSO springs replace with good quality HD stainless double springs
(holds collimation now without mirror locking knobs)
-Fitted orion electric focus with custom bracket
-Primary mirror re-center spotted using catseye template and triangle.
-Comes with neoprene dew shield

Since selling my mount I have only used scope once so I have only
one pic to show, please note collimation and guiding is off, great results can be achieved with more practice.
I still have original shipping box so can post.

Reason for sale, I don't have obs, my back cant handle anymore shifting and I am now on a quest to acquire ultra portable gear
ie astrotrac

cheers Jason
