Aurora 7th of June

This is my first post to IceInSpace so i'm not sure if its a good enough photo.

Well this photo was taken at about 8:30pm on the 7th of june.
Aurora at Eagle Hawk Neck, Tasmania.
"30 Exposure
ISO1600
f/3.5
White balance 3200k
Using a Canon 600d with a 18-55mm lens.

Nice photo. I stayed near there in December with a similar view out my front window. Was wondering what an aurora would look like over those hills. Thanks for the view :)

Nice image you have there!
Managed to pick out some columns and a good range colors.
1600 iso is a little weak for this type of work 3200 seem to be the gold standard, people will argue about the noise but you can always process that out.

Thank you everyone for you positive reaction. I'm still new a photography so all advice is helpful, and thanks @apaulo for the tip about ISO.

I have been hunting Auroras for a few months now and had quite a few late nights, but I hope to post more photos in the future.
