Has anyone had experience buying from
Optics Central ? Good, Bad or indifferent
I am looking to purchase a particular scope
From them to trail as a first scope for young
Beginners.

Hi folks. Thought about creating a new thread, but in the end, just sticking with this ancient one.

I've never purchased from this store before - are they any good? Do folks here use them?

I've used them, and had no problems, including swapping a pair of binoculars that were faulty.

I’ve bought from them a couple of times. Most notably my mount came from them. I found them very helpful to deal with and the staff are friendly.

Thanks all for your input. I picked up a ZWO TC40 tripod from them. Couldn't believe the price, so it seemed a bit weird. All good though. I ordered Saturday and it turned up today.

I've bought a couple of things from them now. Prices are pretty much the same as everyone else however their dispatch and shipping seems a bit faster.

I can say from my dealings with them
thier customer service and dispatch
are seamless.

Warranty claim was also smooth.

Decided to make an incremental step up in my AP journey with the purchase of my first dedicated astro camera a ZWO ASI533MC.
Hunted around for a retailer who had one in stock and could price match.
Phoned Optics Central and spoke to Gerald.
Placed my order yesterday, it arrived today in Geelong.
Certainly be checking them out for any future purchases.

Gerald is amazing from Optic Central. I recently met him face to face and he was amazing to interact him. He really knows his stuff
