A little bit of DIY today to get a grip on the T-Rex :work:

Started out with 80x6x600 Aluminium flat bar and a idea stolen from Deep Space Products, USA.

A few hours of grinding, sawing, filing, sanding, bending, drilling, etch priming and painting and a new handle,
which gets sandwiched between the Casady saddle and the T-Rex head (once the paint hardens), is born.

Here are a few pics.

Added the Crux and Pointers (not being pedantic but the holes are drilled to represent the apparent magnitudes ...)
Toliman 4.0mm
Hadar 4.0mm
Acrux 4.0mm
Mimosa 3.5mm
Gacrux 3.5mm
d Crucis 3.0mm
e Crucis 2.5mm

Hey Matt, Tried this handle out last night, makes for very fast and smooth tracking of slow or fast objects, I was able to track a satellite at 69X with ease.
The top coat is Duplicolor Auto Spray, from memory a Mitsubishi colour that nearly matches Takahashi.

Here it is installed
