Got back from a 4 week trip to Japan - and no did not pick up a Takahashi or Vixen scope. Thought that I had better fire up the observatory to see if everything was working well and to my surprise it all just clicked into place.
Thought I would image a galaxy not often imaged and so chose NGC5068 with the GSO 10" RC and QSI583wsg camera. Took 12x10min subs and processed in PS3 after stacking in DSS.
Comments welcomed.

Beautiful - starting to appreciate mono images a bit more.
Lots of extra GX in that field too.

Thanks for the comments guys, much appreciated. It was good just to fire it all up and start imaging again.

Nice work.
You didn't have to bring back a Tak for yourself, but what about the rest of us? Peter needs an FSQ106.
PS - jealous about Japan trip. Love the place. Been there twice. Did 5 years of Japanese at school, love the language, the people, and the culture.

Thanks David, I'm slowly getting to really like the GSO RC 10" scope as it holds collimation well and is easy to use.
thanks for that Peter, the QSI really works well with the GSO scope.
I did bring back a scope for you Troy but the man in Customs said you had too many and confiscated it.
Japan certainly is different and was a great experience. Can you still speak any Japanese?

Thanks for that Ross. Just found a few more neglected galaxies that I want to image in preparation for Astrofest.
