Finally managed to resurrect some extra data, ( that AviStack refused to cope with, but Registax breezed through ) from the May 10th Annular, and hence complete the image sequence I had in mind.
The final data file ended up ~10,000 pixels wide, but a web friendly version is available below.

Great sequence, Peter and a very nice set of prominences and surface features to add interest! Must look wonderful on a wall-size canvas print.
Cheers,

Agree with Alex - must look excellent when printed large.

Thanks Guys.
Close? Indeed a little too close! That photo was taken about 5 minutes after I decided to move the mount....which turned out to be a *very* good move

Very nice Peter. I can imagine there is an unreasonable amount of processing time in that!
The top left image seems to have slightly different hue/saturation to the others.. is that a real effect of altitude in the sky/clouds? Love the frames at second and third contact.
Excellent capture Peter, what else is there to say.

Thanks Phil. Funny you should mention the processing time.
I upgraded my desktop machine to a Hex Core-i7, 32Gig of RAM, 12Tb RAID and 64 bit OS on a 512Gig SSD. Whew! It crunched the 20 odd, 5Gig .avi's pretty well :)
The hues shouldn't be different, as I applied the same gradient map, but that said, there are grey scale variations due atmospheric extinction plus the thin cloud about at the time.
The 10,000 pixel original has some lovely fine details showing the moon just showing the Chromosphere while edging out the photosphere....something I've not seen before.
Thanks Leon!

Thanks Marc... I took a gamble :prey: and ran 300 frames with a high gamma and exposure to catch any proms that might have been present.
Turned out OK I think.

It doesn't get a lot better than that Peter.
