The weather site indicates that Monday night could be a pretty good night for a bit of dark sky observing.
My daughter (the poet -> www.bronwynlovell.com ) is visiting from Melbourne and has expressed an interest in visiting a dark sky site while here. From what I can see on 7timer, this Monday might just be the only window of opportunity for some time.
So I have intention to take her to "The Pony Club" for a few hours on Monday night, after work. Probably from say 7 to 12 or so. (weather permitting)
I am a keyholder.
Just wondering if anyone else might be interesting in accompanying us.
For the new IIS people, Mangrove Mountain is ideally located within an hour of the Central Coast and a little more from Sydney. (Map and directions in the "Sticky Section" above these posts). It is Free to use, but facilities are what you bring.
Cheers
