4 Subs with 600D was managed, sad seeing them sitting there so had a go at it, basic capers, Registax and CS3 ! One sub actually had rather round stars :screwy: go fiqure ;)
The new humble Orion 10" F4.7 (2nd light) was also fitted with a Sigma 1.4x Xtender/Converter thingy and Baader CC, Subs were 300secs.
Hope it worth a squizz,

Below, I try a link for astrobin 3MB version (need to click image) to show all the gory, not glory capers : ) I kinda dig em, 'cause theyré mine :P , , details under image are Not up to date , ,

Lovely work, Bob!

That's about 1,600mm focal length, eh? Nice round stars.

Is your camera modified?

Well done Bob. Stars are nice and sharp and nice detail in the neb. The histogram in Astrobin looks like you could adjust the black point for the red channel a bit.

Thats freaking amazing for a 20min exposure, am I reading that right
? 4 subs at 300secs. Nice colour, and very little noise considering it's only 4 subs.

Nice job.

Thanx Rick, appreciated

Cheers Marc, glad you like

Thanx H  pretty happy with it, yep. And apparantly 1670mm'ish, Camera Not modded in anyway, though I do use onbourd filters to kill off some blues that often show a bit too strong & personal custom settings I find helps at times, saturation, contrast, sharpness ect, I think most times they produces a better base image before processing ? Cheers !

Thanx & appreciate your Histo point very much Peter, I should check the histo more during processing, Lol, in fact, I found that that all RGB black point were still needing adjustment, though the Red was needing twice as much : ) Attached is a quick repro ? I did do a selective mod to the center, quite a dramatic change, but if you didn't or have another to compare, then, well, kinda Pops this area somewhat bettera ? ? : )

Lol Sandy, And Thanx much , , you have read correct, 4 subs at 300secs. The cooler winter nights help alot, I always use ICNR, and PhotShop Noise Reduction can do wonders if used carefully

Thanx again all , ,

Great stuff Bob. Colours are wonderful. You have to love Leyburn skies. When they're good, they're great.
