I bought my iOptron GOTO Nova kit for my Vixen GPD2 on the 8th from Teleskop-Express in Germany. It hit Sydney and has cleared Customs TODAY. 2 days! I don't think Australia Post could do that between Brisbane and Melbourne!

So, now, how long wil Aus Post take to send it from Sydney to Brisbane, then Brisbane 100km north to me? By the Friday of the coming week that UPS declares on it's tracking page? :) Germany to Australia via USA in 2 days... Sydney to Brisbane in 4? ;) :)

It arrived UPS today - I was actually out - the delivery guy rang, I raced home.

JUST opened it. Will report later what I think, but indeed, the spur gears ARE now cast items, not brass. Bugger.

Glad I bought the Vixen GOTO kit yesterday too - might swap over gears if same size :)

I got a few things from Adorama in the US in three days....ordered on Tuesday at my door on Friday....
