Hi Guys,
This is my final image for now as I have sold both my 8" scope and my DSI. Giving myself a little break. Will be back :)
Took this on the 5th June during the early morning hours at 4.57am. Using the sharp setting in Envisage, consist of 21 x 84 second exposure stacked in Registax and processed in photoshop cs2.
hope you guys like it and as always, comments good/bad welcome :)
Cheers all.

Wow Eric, you have come along way in a very short space of time. Your are producing images with the DSI that are some of the best I've seen with that camera. I'm looking forward to see what you can achieve with whatever you decide will be your next setup.

I am impressed with your results Eric. They not only say a lot for your dedication to producing a fine result but reflect well on your equipment:thumbsup: .
The EQ6 seems to be doing a wondeful job to the point where I dont know if you realise mounts can really cause you a lot of grief. Well I suppose you deserve a rest after such a productive run... I told you that you would run out of objects;) .

Stunning image Eric, and with "modest" equipment compared to what some are using. Very nice.
The C9.25" seems to be the sweet spot, and especially the wallet spot.
As well, it serves well for lunary/planetary webcamming too.

That has to be one of the nicest DSI shots around! I'd send it into Meade if I were you, I reckon they would use it in their advertising.
very well done.

thanks for your comments guys.
@ frank: I have sent Meade a number of my images without a single reply. maybe because im not using a Meade scope and that im not american :P

You might be right, they might prefer it if we all converted to Meade only products! Their loss i guess. I know that when i was reaserching imaging equipement with virtually no knowledge I would look at mags, compare the pics taken with SBIGs , digital SLRs and the Meade DSI.
I dont really remember seeing any DSI shots that grabbed my attention as much as yours though.
keep up the great work !

That's a very nice image. You've got perfectly circular stars there, and such nice colour and contrast. Really is nice.
Roger.
Great image as usual Eric..... I don't know how you can sell one scope without already having the next! Talk about withdrawals....... You know that until you replace it the skies will be perfectly clear.....
