Damn, Harryhausen was a true pioneer.

Pixar honoured him in the Monsters Inc movie my naming a high-class restaurant in there "Harryhausen's" :thumbsup:

Loved those movies and Sindab el mariner as well. Saw them all when I was a kid at the local movies. Stop motion was hard yakka indeed and involved tremendous timing skills. Now it's all CG. Easy peasy.
