Peter and I imaged probably at the same time yesterday and I thought I would put up my yin version to his yang version. I think he had the better seeing but still some nice detail visible.

This is done with the single stack of the Lunt 80.

And for comparison Peters Image (http://www.atscope.com.au/BRO/gallery245.html). Hope you don't mind Pete.

Nicely done Paul & Peter, both look like wall poster material.

Thanks Trev. I really need a much larger sensor than the 2.8mp. It would make it so much easier to capture the entire disk at high res in one panel. I am waiting on PGR to produce their new 9mp camera which will allow me to take the entire disk in one sweep at hi res. Pete has this advantage with the 6mp in that he can take the entire disk with two panels. Using 9 panels to get complete and low flaw images is a little difficult. This image is actually around 50% of the actual size of the image.

Hi Paul and Peter, Really nice images. Peter's is one of the best I've seen - tremendous detail. Wow! Cheers, John W

Great disc Paul.I know nothing about these Mosaics but it seems Peter's Proms are sharper than yours in most instances where disc features are similar. One day perhaps we'll have a camera that can get all these features and the whole disc in one go.
