This is a single 20 minute exposure, captured with a Canon 6D, Samyang 14mm lens @ ISO640, f/5.6.

The bulging disc of the Milky Way is still visible through the trails.
You may also recognise the 5 trees which have made an appearance in so many of my photos lately ;)

Nice image Mike.. very clean and what I presume is a very natural green airglow colour to the background.

Did you use long-exposure noise reduction in camera or subtract your own dark frame, or is that without either? At that size it looks very clean.

cheers
Phil

Thanks Rod!

Hi Phil. Yes the green is natural. That was the weekend it was green everywhere!
I didn't use any ICNR or dark frame subtraction. It was simply use Topaz De-Noise to clean it up. I'll post the raw to give you an idea of what it was like.

Thanks Greg, appreciate the feedback.

Thanks Dave. I was hoping for a little more water in the dam but there was just enough to still give reflections.

Thanks Bob :) Good luck! Look forward to seeing the results.
