My name is Peter, I am in Brisbane.
I was getting in to astronomy many years ago, but I seperated from my wife and she burnt all my stuff including telescope.

I am now starting out again. I have been refreshing with books and on the internet.

If anyone wants to sell some gear please PM me:help: .I am only starting out. So don't scare me with prices to much. :eyepop:

I would like to get a hold of a Cassegrain 6" or more. Surely some one who has been in this for a while has one sitting there they don't use anymore.

I would suggest that you get involved in an observing group in your area, so while you are saving for some equipment you can "spark" your interest by having some fun actually observing. I'm sure there are some folk on this forum near you who you can link up with.

I have been looking, Keep checking here and on ebay. Ebay stuff keeps getting taken off as false sales.
