<font color="#FF0000">Red</font&gt
<font color="#00FF00">Green</font&gt
<font color="#0000FF">Blue</font&gt

will give you:

<font color="#FF0000">Red</font>
<font color="#00FF00">Green</font>
<font color="#0000FF">Blue</font>

The colour code is a 6 digit hexadecimal number (i.e., each digit runs from 0 thru 9 thru A to F), 2 digits for red, 2 for green and 2 for blue.

You can also use common colours, instead of the hex code.

< font color="red">Red< /font>

<font color="red">Red</font>

I'm not sure you can have html tags in the user title above your avatar though.

2nd easiest way is to click "post reply" at the bottom of any thread and use the vB code to compose your sig then cut and paste into your profile.
Easiest way is to use firefox with the BBcode extension.

Sorry I have no idea, where to put the code. I never learnt Html of any other code. I know some basic code, but nothing else. I really need to do a web design course and learn all this stuff. I can reformat a hard drive, install programs and have even set up a network at home, but as for code I am I admit lost.

Tell us what you want to be colour (and which colour), and i'll write the bbcode for you.

Just paste this in your signature box..

Paul H.
{color=blue}Blackwood Observatory{/color}
10" LX 200 GPS UHTC
Orion 80mm ED Guide scope
D70 Nikon
Meade DSI
Toucam Pro 2 840k

Just replace the { and } with [ and ]

Just use Ascii (http://www.southerntwilight.com/tutorials/asciicharacters.html) characters

PS the numbers are easy to use than the names
