Hey everyone.

As some of you may know a relative of mine gave me (purchased off him) this telescope about 3 weeks ago. I did decide to keep it when I got it but I think it would be better suited to a new home.

He only got to use it once because he lost interest in Astronomy therefore he gave it to me. I have only used it twice. There is another telescope I am after as my secondary one (need something a bit more portable) therefore I am selling this one.

Condition is excellent as I inspected it once my relative gave it to me.

Selling as either:
1) OTA ----- SOLD
2) EQ2 Mount - $75 (pickup or + postage cost)

If you are after a cheap secondary setup or after some spare parts here is your chance!

Please PM me (I will respond quickly as I always have IceInSpace opened on my PC or mobile).

I am located in the northern suburbs of Melbourne.

Thanks!

Been getting offers on the mount. It has been around the $75 mark.

What I will do is price it at $75 (no postage if picked up).

Interstate buyers can purchase it but must pay for postage. I use Pack & Send for these type of items. Since it is a heavy item postage will vary from $60 and up.

Please contact me if you are interested in this. If you do decide to contact me I will ask for a personalised quote from Pack & Send depending on your postcode.

Hi Stefan,
I'm interested in the mount, but, do you know if it will fit on a Meade eq1 tripod? my mounts slow motion controls hardly work (they just twist without moving the scope), and the screws don't seem to lock the scope in place without it slipping past where I lock it..maybe this could be a cheap-ish fix.

I realise you want to sell this, but would it work for me? I don't need the counterweights if that helps with the weight issue.

I can post pics of my mount/whatever if there's anything specific that you need to see if it'll be compatible.

Thanks and sorry for the questions, but I'm sure you'd know a lot more then me on this...or maybe someone else can confirm.

cheers matt

No apologies mate! To be honest I am not exactly sure. Best thing to do is ask someone on the forum what you asked below and you will get an answer.

Let me know mate!

Post some photos up as well! Oh and it would be better to send the mount without the counterweight because it is heavier than the mount and will drastically increase the postage cost.
