They look 3 dimensional as well as stunning. Two questions please. Are they mosaics using the DMK 51 and if so how many panels and secondly how do you focus to such fine detail as I think upon reflection our first images the focus was a bit soft. We were thinking of some sort of batimoff/hartmann mask ? trying on a sunspot????

That particular shot was using a reducer. I have data half done for a 7 pane mosaic. Need to finish the proms.
I usually focus by eye for the sun. Just zoom in to about 150% and you will get it right pretty quick. Always use a prominent feature like a sunspot until you get use to it.
