SharpStar AL107 apo scope for sale. I bought it new, sold it to Flasher, then bought it back when he sold it recently. Since then it has been used only a few times, imaging.
• 107MM f / 6.5 fully-muit-coated triplet air-spaced optical design
• Contains 1 ED lens, Japanese OHARA FPL - 53 super ED lens
• New dual-speed 3 inch rack and pinion control gear, 10:1 micro focus
• 360 degree rotation angle regulator
• Tube ring and a Vixen-style dovetail
• sliding dew-shield with lock
• Finder shoe
• Sturdy metal storage case
I've really only imaged with it, took a quick look with the bino-viewer when it first arrived, but since then, just imaging. It has a reasonably flat field, which is further helped with the generic field flatteners available. I also used a TRF2008 reducer with success. The 3" focuser, with R&P, makes for easy focusing.
This sale is for the scope OTA alone, no mount, nor the bino-viewer, nor finder.
Centaurus A taken a few nights ago, with an SXVF-H9, also for sale, separately.
