Galaxies M98 and M99. Not as much data as I would have liked to get, I've worked hard to keep the noise down in the RGB layer at the cost of losing some of the finer colour detail in both galaxies. Exposures times were 60mins in Luminance, 30mins in Red, 27mins in Blue and 14mins in Green.
thanks for looking

Thanks both, its just a pity I'm not able to spend longer on these objects, we just haven't been getting the weather for it....even with the summer on its way the past few clear nights we had the wind was extremely high, very frustrating when we get very few clear nights

I understand Peter all too well. I take it this is the 12AG scope.

Great result Peter. The AG12 is humming along nicely, though I can't help thinking what more exposure time would have done - even if operating at F/3.8. Perhaps I'm spoilt by the images of big Mike with his AG12 sucking in the galactic cirrus photons like there's no tomorrow and the plentiful background galaxies to boot. None the less, object pairings as you present are always cool to view adding an extra dimension. A very clean, tidy and well processed image. Thanks for sharing.
