Any chance of a couple of better photos showing some reflections of a bright light from both sides ? I'm wondering if this is a singlet, doublet or what, plano or biconvex, and whether it is coated, and whether it's scratched.

From your photo it looks uncoated...

If it was a singlet I would have advertized it as a magnifying glass ( or under ware ) If it was plano I would say its a bit of window
Its a doublet I don't think any elements are fluorite , no scratches , no idea of coatings .
