HI. I got around to stacking and processing my deep space images from IISAC and am happy to have got some images when at times the dew threatened to end my nights (no dew heaters):lol:
All images taken with unmodded 500D and unguided and NEQ6PRO

1. Eta Carina 50 mins exp. 500D-SW8"f5-darks and flats
2. Omega Centauri 15 mins exp. sw8"f5-darks and flats
3. Antares and M4- 26 mins exp- lights only no darks, no flats ( captured in "M" jpeg by mistake) swed80
4. M8 and M20- 57 mins. SWED80 PRO gold model. darks and flats.
Most subs were 1-1.5mins each. (except for darks and flats-they were from existing library) ... need to update library.
Thanks for looking :)
Steve.

Thanks Rod. I was happy to get them both in the same field. Better luck next time :)

Thanks Carlos. Those dark skies make a big difference :)

Thanks Mike:thumbsup:

I was pretty keen for it to get dark after setting up. I was lucky i got an ok alignment with the polar scope on the first night down on the lower observing field, that's when i got Eta Carina and Omega Centauri. :)

Cheers :)

Thanks Hugh:hi:

Cheers. Yep it is possible, even more so on the NEQ6PRO. The eq3 did go alright aswell with an ED80, but i found i had to ditch a few images either due to balance or wind or error. With the NEQ6, i am able to keep many more images. One day soon i will get guiding:thumbsup:
