Had a crack at a prom animation yesterday. Capture was 1min every 4minutes or as close as I could while dodging clouds.
I learned some things not to do next time. The main one is not to use a reference spot that is changing. It maybe easier to chose a bit brighter one as well. I think it is an activity when it is clear sky as well. Anyway here it is.

Nice work mate. AS2 is great for animations when it comes to planets (it auto crops a planet image dead centre) but I've yet to work out how to use it for this type of work. Before AS2 I used to crop things by eye. What are you using?

I used Photoshop to do the whole lot from creating an action through to alining and batch crop and finale animation. Maybe I should split it up.:confused2:
I will try some variation when time permits.

Yeah Ken I can see that. I chose an area that I though would remain stable to guide the whole lot, but it disappeared on me. Hence the jumping on 3 frames. I also used different bolts on the mount which screwed the alinement as well. It does not take much as you know.:D
