These are from a recent trip on the MS Lofoten of the Hurtigruten line. The journey was southbound down the Norwegian coast from Kirkenes to Bergen.
It was an amazing trip with some amazing scenery and some great views of the aurora.

Top shots. Especially the dawn on the mountains shot.
Hows the house in the middle of the Bay? You wouldn't want to be a sleep walker!
We don't get to see that type of scenery here in Oz. The super cold has its own aesthetic.

Thanks everyone :D
Oh soooooo cold, much of the voyage was around -10!
Thanks, yeah that house was so strange, I just happened to walk out on deck just as we passed it.
I agree, the whole time I was over there the scenery was just surreal, the snow and frozen lakes/rivers everywhere in Moscow, Copenhagen and Stockholm were such a novelty (something the locals did not agree with me about!) I've seen plenty of snow in Australia while snowboarding but never in a huge city.

And if you take away the snow and ice you get an idea what the Earth looked like for most of its history - bare rock and some gravel.
Great shots Hugh
What a spectacular area.
