Hi there!

Another image from my late March batch. This time of Aliacensis & Werner, two craters not as photographed as the 'big' ones. They reside off Mare Nubium in the South central area of the Moon, a very heavily crated region.

Imaged with the ASI120MM.

Cheers,

Eric

Excellent images Eric and you certainly are giving the ASI a work out but they are a great little camera.

The ASI is a gem. Have a look at the Moon pictures Mike Wirths takes with the ASI120MM: http://tech.dir.groups.yahoo.com/group/lunar-observing/message/28588

I have never seen Gassendi like this. And the details on Hippalus are incredible. Inspiring!

Hi Eric
Excellent pic - the depth in the pic makes you fall in!

Thanks Matt.

Interestingly, this AVI didn't need much processing. The AVIs captured before and after this one are of much worse quality. It goes to show how variable seeing was that night.
