Saturn - the bottom of the learning curve

Well, nothing to write home about but....my first ever Saturn. Not a patch on Alan's but....

Single frame using the new 12"dob, powermate 5x and DSLR 1100D

Single frame with no tracking. I tried to take a movie but forgot to press the record button!

It's a beginning I guess.

It's all a learning curve and it's not bad and at least it's in colour :thumbsup:

Focus was near impossible with a DSLR and a dob buit at least it was proof of concept.

Film Saturn with a 12 inch dob then stack frames with regi stax and they come out pretty good. I filmed with a 12inch dob for years. It's hard but it works. Nice shot
