Haven't had the black Hubble out for a couple of months, feels great to be under a starry sky again!
Loving it!
Even better when the wind died down around 10.30pm. Looking fwd to turning the scope on Saturn tonight, first time this season :D
Thought I'd just share!
Cheers

Thanks David, and ken all I can say is ouch! But forecast is looking good all w'end!
Saturn was great the rings noticeably tilted more, plus I managed to check out m104, m83 for the first time in a good size scope.
A great night out. Although not looking fwd to work tomorrow!

Just got back in myelf from 4 hours of observing. Light haze probably high cloud, but after the last couple of weeks, the sky views were fantastic. Like you said Russell, Saturn was suberb, the rings are beautifully angled making it a great site. Even made out four of the moons, probably five but that might be wishful thinking.
Clear skies
