This is the third day in a row I have been able to image AR1711. I hope it continues for a week or so. It will be interesting to see the changes. The bridges across the AR make it look like a heart in the wider field shots.

Tip- In order to try and get the best out of things (processing wise) I have been guiding the exposures. I think it makes the stacking process much smoother. My mount is pretty well alined but I firmly believe this is helping. And of course if you do field trips it is a must!!!
I use Mire de Collimation Ver 3.0 It is free of the web and will over lay any capture program you might have.
You probably think Im mad :P but try it and see.

You keep managing to sneak these threads on without me noticing! Great results. Not mad at all! Rule of thumb > If there is no movement of said video/data in the FOV then the aligning software does a much better job! In my case it hasn't got time to move. 18 second captures tops.
