These are some shots from one of the places I stayed in Norway recently. Awesome place but we didn't have great luck with the clouds here, you could see the aurora through holes in the cloud most nights but then the one perfectly clear evening the aurora failed to make an appearance. (I got some shots from elsewhere which I'll post sooner or later)
This place was only 400 metres from the Russian border, in fact you can see it in some of these shots.

Yeah just a bit, it was -17 the night we arrived!
I think the highest temp we had was about -2 and I don't even know the lowest, probably around -20.
