Here's a few insects from my garden in March.
#1: Dolichopodid fly
#2: Fuscous Swallowtail butterfly (Papilio fuscus)
#3: Soldier fly(?)
#4: Fruit fly (?)
#5: Fly which I haven't been able to identify - any ideas?
#6: Planthopper
#7: Planthopper nymph
#8: Red-shouldered Leaf Beetle (Monolepta australis)
Thanks for looking!
Cheers,
Stephen

Thanks very much Laurie, Carlos, Dennis and Patrick!
It took a whole month to find them all though Dennis! But it is amazing how much you can find in a small garden if you look hard enough.
Cheers,
Stephen

Thanks Ken! I think there's been fewer in Brisbane this summer as well..
Thanks Steve! Glad you like them.
Thanks Stefan! I'm using the Tamron 90 macro. It's a great little lens for the price.
Cheers,
Stephen
