I have a Parks 8 inch f/6 primary mirror and a 40mm minor axis secondary. Looking for a tube to put optics in. I have built newtonion scopes before, just need a suitable tube or knowledge on where to get one.

Doug,

I have a 8" F/7.2 telescope made by astro-optical from Sydney in 1988,
I have no need for this telescope anymore, its tube would be longer than
you need for a F/6 system.

It has the spider and secondary and primary 8" F/7.2 mirror plus mirror cell plus a bintel 2" focuser crayford type.

Not sure if your interested in the whole lot or just the tube?.

am in New Castle NSW, so the tube could be sent up to you by courier
it's 10" (254mm) Diameter and about 60" (1500mm) long. am not sure on the costs, let me know if your interested and we can talk a bit more..
