OK, here is another repro from data taken a couple of years ago by my homemade prototype (200mm Newtonian with Moonlite focuser / Paracorr / STL-11000M). Hopefully an improvement on the original processing effort.

This is a (L+Ha)RGB image (L=80, Ha=80, R=90, G=60, B=80 minutes). Subs all 10 mins at -10C.

I am loathe to criticise seeing I am a ham fisted neo-amateur at best in processing, but, the orange star colours over over the top to me, and have rings.

I DO love the definition and depth to the upper regions of the nebulosity though.

Thanks Steve!

Thanks Marc!

Thanks Lewis; yes some of the yellow/orange stars have some bothersome halos. I'm still coming to grips with star / nebula processing (this is just the 4th nebula image that I have processed) - I think I introduced this by trying to process the halos out too early in the process. I may have another go (re-repro ) later.

Nice repro David! Great detail! What's the image scale?

Colour balance doesn't look quite right though - some of the reds are a bit salmon ... and those halos need to go! :D

Cheers, Marcus
