Some Ha from this week-end

Had a good(ish) week-end. Hot but still manage to get a bit of imaging time and short subs in between the clouds. Pictures were shot with QHY9 and 90mm APO prime focus, Baader Ha 7nm.

The high-res version show a fair bit of details and are relatively noise free with a good image scale.

Ara...:question: sorry... the stars look like little potatoes...

The coq a vin however looks snappier :thumbsup:....just needs a bit more highlight and shade

... goes well with pomme de terre only when cooking ;)

Thanks Allan. :thumbsup: Well yeah it's been pretty bad Saturday so glad Sunday worked out alright. Now it's hot and cloudy. Maybe tomorrow clears. I'd love to have an obs and leave the gear out. Setting up, repeatability is a b||ch. Always something different from one session to the other. But with the skies and the LP situation here I can't really justify building anything. The pier is the most I'll do.

Well done getting images out in between all the clouds; IC2948 looks great. NGC6188 / 6164 aren't bad either considering your battle with the clouds!

Thanks David. :thumbsup: I have to look into those stars. Closer inspections on the subs shows a mushroom shape not potato even on axis. I wonder if the corrector is at the wrong distance and is doing that or if it is tilt. :question: I've ruled out guiding now. Looks like the V shape you get out of a coma corrector when it's too far from the sensor.
