Here's my first go at this type of thing.
Nikon D800E, Nikkor 85mm f1.8, Vixen Polarie
32images, 105 seconds, f3.5 iso1250. Stacked and processed in CS6.
Nice work. You've captured quite a lot of dust.

Very nice Lincoln. The Polarie seems to be gaining popularity on this forum.
The stars are so fine in this image. Polarie does a nice job with wide field.

I looked at the image and didn't read the text at first. My first thought was "Takahashi FS60".
In other words, NICE shot, and a great lens on the DSLR!

Great shot. 85mm F1.8g is one of Nikon's sharpest but it does suffer from excessive chromatic aberration.
You could use the remove axial chromatic aberration slider there a tad as there are some purple halo'd stars from chromatic aberration showing. F2.2 this tends to weaken and wide open there is a bit too much.
You got great colour showing there.
Greg.

Great result. Well done.
Beautiful work. Would love to see higher res.
Possibly a bit more red/orange and saturation for an image showing such great detail would be my only suggestion.
