From Southern Cross to EtaCarina, total of 50min subs, 50mm lens, ISO 1600, 60Da ..
I like the way this lens "produces" 8-arm stars: see A-Crux ..

Very nice Ian!
I would bump the saturation up a little to make star and Eta colour a bit more apparent, but then that's only a personal preference.
A great image.
What mount are you using?

Lovely image, is it just one frame or have you stitched a couple together to get the wide screen image?

Great capture Ian
Thnx ..
I have CPC925 with wedge. I made several brackets which allow me to mount camera in both orientations on top of the scope ..
Thanks Roger ..
It's one frame, of which I cropped 1/5 from the top and 1/5 from the bottom (Prth-city light pollution) ..
Thanks Bob, Trevor and Laurie !!!
Nice. There is so much to see in this FOV.
Yeah, you might be right, the colours are a little bit "dull" ..
Have a look at version with increased colour "vibrance" ..
