Very timely for me too as the case that my C8 came in is starting to fail.

Ill have a go at reposting it. I brought it from Bunnings, I think on special as it was just a pallet load they had. The staff thought I was nuts going round carefully measuring the inside of eskies :D

The foam is just temporary (well maybe ;)) forthe upcoming star party. Later I hope to get it cut properly to fit.

$45 for the eski and the same for the high density foam.

Good work, and practical usage for an item most people have come to realise isn't particularly good at doing it's designed purpose :lol: (Compared to modern equivalents)

Stops it getting hot in the back of the car too so less cool down time. I like it!
Could you use one of those eskies with the peltier coolers in them to cool the optics down before going outside.? Great for planetary observing.
