To all members
I am trying to find a member who I spoke to in early November. He is well know on IIS, He said he will get back to after the eclipse, he was going to help me align my scope and show me drift align. But unfortunately I have forgotten who this chap was, all I know is that he lived about 10 mins from me, ( I live in Kewarra Beach Queensland ) and I know he aligns his scope using a gps on his phone, and he is an engineer on boats.
If you are the chap I spoke to could you please try and make contact again, as the nights are starting to clear a bit I want to start getting the scope back out, or if any one else knows of this guy could some one send a contact please
I would be most greatfull
Rob

Hi Rob,

Was it a conversation you had on the forums?

If so you can click on your name UK1, in the top left corner of your posts and a dropdown menu appears.
From that you can then choose "Find all post by UK1" and it will take you to all your posts. It may take a bit of wading through to find the exact conversation but it might be helpful.

Best Of Luck Bob, Maybe he might just see this thread:)
Suggestion, Try putting your post in General Chat, you may just score a hit, as most people I think don't look in the begginers forum.
Cheers:thumbsup:

Off course you can, there is nothing in the rules to stop you as far as I am aware.
It happens on many occasions on iceinspace.

Bob,

that would only have been because it's pretty pointless having the same post in two places on one forum.

But there'd be no problem with re-posting this post in the general chat forum and asking Mike to delete this one - or ask him just to shift the whole thing across to GC - that would be best.

Cheers buddy,

RB
