My first supernova

Here is tonight's effort on SN2012fr, which sprang up about late last October I think. It's the blue star immediately to the right of the core of NGC 1365, which is in Fornax. And it's the first supernova that I've 'seen'.

18 subs x 60 secs @ ISO 1600.

Thanks all for the comments.

I've just realised why the SN appears blue, and that is because of the blue shift (as opposed to red shift) of the hot gas speeding towards us.
