Hmm, I’ve just updated the Satellite elements in The Sky X, Starry Night Pro Plus 6 and Sky Safari Pro and all show the ISS missing the Sun by between 1 and 2 degrees, at around 13:52:07 compared to the details received in the CalSky notification.:confused2::shrug:
Don’t make too many plans just yet Brisbanites!!!:screwy:

It looks like the ISS has fired its thrusters – here’s the latest ground track from CalSky, it has moved a few kms eastwards.
All we need now is some good weather…:)

Thanks for the heads up Dennis - the centreline was about 4 km from my house where it only just misses the disc. The clouds put paid to any plans unfortunately.

Thanks Mike & Tom
I drove to the Minnipinni Parklands which was on the ground track, mainly to practice packing the car and setting up as I figured we would be under 100% cloud cover, which we were!
I had some help from this friendly Kookaburra – a budding astronomical assistant!
The last shot of the Kookaburra on the branch was taken through the Mewlon 180.
