Went past the swamp this arvo and there they were. Raced home to get the 60D 400mmL lense and 1.4 extender and tripod. This collage is a crop of shots at ISO 160.1/100s.f8 and FL 878mm. Focused manually using the zoom.The pair then departed acrosss the river to the tidal flats where they caught whiting in the reed beds. Unfortunately they were too far off and the low light prevented ay pics as sharp as these. Still I had a good view with the live view mode.
A great way to finish the weekend.
