Managed to get almost three hours of Eta Carinae with the ED80 last night (6x10 mins Ha, 6x10mins SII and 5x10mins OIII) mapped in Hubble Palette.

Thanks Marc - had to compress the small version a lot to get under 200k. Really enjoying the NB filters with this scope - so much easier to do long subs than with the newt.

Thanks for the feedback Laurie, Mike, Dave and JJJ. Really enjoying the NB imaging with this setup - can't believe I've had it sitting around for so many years. So much easier to set/pack up than the 10" Newt too.

I like the detail, but can't help thinking it looks a bit washed out???
Needs more "punch" - especially in the green. It's the whole art vs science thing...
