Hello,
Caught the documentary tonight. I wasn't sure if I was going to like it at first but in the end totally enjoyed it. Clyde Tombaugh's telescopes were wonderful creations with his Lawnmower telescope a real winner. "It's got wheels and a handle so it needs a telescope on it". Priceless.
The church mural that included Clyde was very inspiring and moving also.
Thought it was well presented as well with a little humour and all points of view aired which was amusing considering the "infamy" of the presenter.
As for Pluto, hmm not sure on status just glad to know its out there. :)
Thanks for the heads up Neil.
Cheers
Simmo ;)

Haven't finished watching, but confirms my view that Neil DeGrasse Tyson is one of the best science presenters in the world, funny, self deprecating but very intelligent. A true gem of the astronomical world.
Malcolm
That was such a great programme!
And oh boy it was so emotional seeing that glass mural of Clive Tombaugh.
And just about snapped my ribs off in laughter at the beginning when Neil was telling us about those 3rd graders with their hate mail. Too funny!
For more in depth info regarding the Pluto Files, take a look at this interview- it's very good! And done in typical N.D.T. humour. It goes for an hour and a half but the time flies watching it, it's pretty entertaining!

Hey Malcolm,
If you want to see Neil in one of his funniest interviews YOU HAVE TO watch this. He talks about trying to get a hold of James Cameron getting the sky wrong in Titanic. Truly hilarious!
